Meet Natalie Raplee

Director of Product Solutions at Clarus Partners, where she brings together technical insight, strategic thinking, and a passion for solving client challenges. Originally from Greenville, NC and now living in New Hill, she’s built a career centered around collaboration, innovation, and long-term client success. Whether she’s working alongside Clarus tax experts or planting flowers in her backyard, Natalie thrives when she’s helping something grow.

From Backyard Paths to Flower Beds

For Natalie Raplee, growth has always been part of the journey. Whether she’s planting flower beds at home or helping clients navigate the evolving landscape of tax technology and compliance. As Director of Product Solutions, she works closely with both software and service teams at Clarus Partners, striving to make even the most complex processes easier for clients. But outside of work, Natalie finds a different kind of joy in the quiet, rewarding rhythm of planting flowers and watching them bloom.

“My grandfather had a beautiful backyard filled with flowers, bushes, and tree-lined paths,” Natalie recalls. “When I was little, it felt like an adventure every time we visited. He knew the name of every flower, and I’d run around asking him what each one was.”

A Creative Outlet That Brings Joy

Those early memories sparked a lifelong connection to gardening. When Natalie moved into her first townhouse in 2008, she planted her own flowers for the first time. Over time, the hobby became a meaningful outlet—one that gave her space to reflect, be creative, and reconnect with nature. “It spreads happiness and joy, not just for me, but for anyone who walks by.”

Natalie’s husband has supported her passion too, even if he pretends not to love it quite as much. “He built flower beds in the backyard for me as a Mother’s Day gift,” she says with a smile. “Now I can plant whatever I want.” Her long-term goal? To create a full garden once her oldest daughter heads off to college.

Planting Seeds at Clarus Partners

While gardening might seem worlds apart from indirect tax, Natalie sees more parallels than differences. “When you plant seeds with your efforts, whether in a garden or with a client, you get to watch something grow,” she says. “You solve a problem, build trust, and leave something better than you found it. That’s what I strive to do every day at Clarus.”

That sense of pride in creating long-lasting impact is what Natalie says gives her the most fulfillment at work. “I love leveraging the technical expertise of our team and pairing it with our software solutions to make a real difference for our clients,” she explains. “When they see us not just as a vendor, but as a true co-partner in solving challenges and staying compliant, I know we’ve done our job well.”

Why Clarus Feels Like Home

For Natalie, Clarus Partners represents more than just a workplace. “We have expert support, advanced technology, defined services, and a team-first culture,” she says. “It’s a positive environment that fosters both personal and professional growth. I’m proud to be part of something that delivers real value—and does it with integrity.”

More Than Just a Hobby

Outside of work and gardening, Natalie is also a black belt in karate, a discipline she practiced in her youth and once taught to kids. In fact, she passed on a family tradition by telling her own daughter she couldn’t date until earning her green belt—a milestone achieved in 9th grade.

Gardening reminds Natalie to slow down, stay grounded, and take pride in small wins. “It’s a reminder to enjoy the beauty of life and to stay rooted in what matters most,” she says. “Like any good garden, everything meaningful takes time, care, and intention.”
